Meatless Monday Joins the Global Climate Action Summit

Eating less meat is a simple change we can make to meet our climate commitment and Meatless Monday is an ideal way for you and your community to take action. We’re bringing this message to the Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco, California this week with our partner, the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future.

If you’re at the summit, hear from our President, Peggy Neu, among many other leaders raising awareness of the role food plays in mitigating climate change at the following events:

Wednesday, September 12 at the Center for a Livable Future event, “Menus and Meals: Climate Action’s Best Kept Secret for Cities and Businesses.”

Thursday, September 13 at the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation’s event, “Changing the Climate. One Step at a Time.”
