Blackberry Pumpkin Smoothie

Blackberries and earthy pumpkin come together with vanilla soymilk in this sweetly spiced treat. Cinnamon and agave nectar meld the flavors together before this smoothie is finished with a touch of nutmeg. This recipe comes to us from Renee of I Can Make That Stuff.

Serves 2

8 ice cubes

  • 1 cup light vanilla soy milk
  • 1 cup frozen blackberries
  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin, roasted or raw
  • 4 tablespoons agave nectar
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon
  • dash of ginger
  • nutmeg, to top

Puree the ice and soy milk together in a blender.

Add the frozen blackberries and blend to combine.

Add the pumpkin, agave, cinnamon and ginger and blend until completely pureed. Pour into 2 glasses, top with a sprinkle of ginger and enjoy!
