Makes 10 Servings

When you’re watching your fat intake, dips are probably one of the first things you should cut out. But feel free to indulge in a few scoops of this creamy appetizer on carrot or celery sticks. Low-fat dairy cuts out most of the fat and a little horseradish gives it some kick.

  • 3 tablespoons scallions, chopped finely
  • 3 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 6 tablespoons low-fat cream cheese
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons dill, chopped
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons horseradish

Put cream cheese in small bowl and gradually add buttermilk until smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients. Salt and pepper if desired. Serve with cut vegetables.
