Makes 2 servings

Mango Lassi is a favorite at Indian restaurants, and now you can make it in your own kitchen for a delicious breakfast drink!

  • 1 cup plain low-fat or nonfat yogurt
  • 1 cup peeled and chopped ripe mango
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • A handful of ice cubes

Directions

Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth in a blender. Pour into glasses and serve. Note that if you don’t like having mango pulp in your drink, you can strain through a sieve into your glass – just push through as much liquid as possible. If you prefer a thick shake, there is no need to strain.
