Serves 4-6
- 1 15-oz can kidney beans, undrained
- 1 15-oz can pinto beans, undrained
- 2 jalapeno peppers, diced
- 1 cup onions, chopped
- 2 8-oz cans tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 1lb firm tofu, drained, pressed and crumbled (or ground meat alternative)
- 1 cup water
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a crock pot or a large pot. Cook on low heat for 6 hours.
