Peanutty Bars

(Serves 60)

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups salted dry-roasted peanuts
  • 2 cups sunflower seed kernels
  • 2 cups raisins
  • 8 cups rolled oats
  • 8 cups Rice Krispies
  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 4 ½ cups brown sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 4 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Mix together peanuts, sunflower seeds, raisins, oats, and rice cereal. Combine peanut butter, brown sugar and corn syrup and heat until melted. Add vanilla and stir. Pour peanut butter mixture over dry ingredients and stir until coated.

Spoon into pan, pressing down firmly. Let stand for about an hour, then cut into squares.
